Japan to invest $850 million in Lakhra coal project
1,331views 2015-01-30 17:09The Japanese government has expressed its willingness to invest 850 million dollars, in Lakhra coal project in Pakistan.
This was stated by Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata in a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in Islamabad.
He said that his country would also provide assistance to Pakistan in energy conservation, water supply system in Lahore and security improvement system at Karachi port. He affirmed strong interest of Japanese investors in various projects in Pakistan.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that different automobile companies of Japan were planning to enhance their investment in Pakistan.
